Position title: Agricultural Programs Interpreter
Reports to: -Farm Managers/Agricultural Lead at 1900 Farm, 1850 Farm and 1700 farm, based on assignment
Supervises: Seasonal Interpreters, interns, volunteers.
Status: Full time (32-40 hours weekly), hourly, non-exempt.
Salary Range: $10-$12/hour based on experience.
Job Summary: Entry level Agricultural Interpretive position focused on daily hands-on activities and agricultural demonstrations at the working farms sites. Duties will include interacting with museum guests, providing excellent public programming and customer service, supporting the working farm site supervisors with chores and site upkeep, working with livestock and agricultural fields, as well as supervising other seasonal staff on supervisor’s days off. Cross-training to other LHF historic sites including Walnut Hill 1875 town will be expected, as assigned. Full job description in attached file.
