Guest Engagement Interpreter - Part-Time/PT-Flex

Principal Function: The Guest Engagement Interpreter is responsible for learning and mastering content and interpretive methods in order to provide engaging experiences to the organization’s visitors as a costumed 1st-person and/or blue-shirt 3rd-person interpreter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Interacts with the public using Opening Doors engaging techniques and facilitates hands-on activities.
2. Participates in all programs, as needed.
3. Conducts required post maintenance, as needed.
4. Participates in trainings and research as needed; periodically organizes and leads trainings.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Previous experience as an interpreter is desired. Previous experience working in the museum and/or acting industry is desired.
