The Farm Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing daily and seasonal operations at the living history museum / farm. Museum structures include a farm house, harness shop, smokehouse, spring house, equipment shed/blacksmith shop, livestock barns (horses, cows, pigs, and more), and a chicken coop. Program areas include general visitation, school field trip programs, thematic family programs, special events, retail operations, summer camps, and rentals. Conducts ongoing research and development of the site's physical features, buildings, historic collections, and livestock program and supervises other staff and volunteers in the day-to-day care of livestock and general operation of the living history farm. Assists with collections management, including identification and research of artifacts. Direct supervisory responsibility for Farm Operations Staff and Livestock Volunteers, and indirect supervisory responsibility for Program Staff and Interpretive Volunteers.
